Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Matcha Fix ("we", "us", the "App") handles information when you use the App. We built Matcha Fix to be private by default: you don't create an account, and we don't ask for your name, email, or contact details to use it.

Information we process

• Anonymous identifier. The App signs you in anonymously (via Firebase Anonymous Authentication) and assigns a random ID so your recipes and preferences can sync to your device. This ID is not linked to your real identity.
• Content you create. Recipes you generate or save, custom ingredients, and preferences (such as milk type, cup size, and intensity) are stored so the App works for you.
• AI requests. When you use AI Custom Recipe or Cafe Dupe, the text you type (your description, goals, and preferences) is sent to our secure server and then to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a recipe. These requests are used only to produce your result.
• Purchase status. If you subscribe or buy a lifetime unlock, your subscription status is managed through Apple and our payments provider (RevenueCat) so we can unlock premium features. We do not receive or store your card details.
• Basic diagnostics. Apple may provide us with aggregate, non-identifying App Analytics (such as downloads and crashes) if you have enabled sharing in your device settings.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not show third-party advertising.
• We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, or precise location.

Service providers

We rely on trusted providers to run the App: Google Firebase (anonymous auth, database, and security via App Check), OpenAI (AI recipe generation), and RevenueCat together with Apple (subscriptions and purchases). Each processes data only to provide their part of the service.

Data retention & deletion

Your saved recipes and custom ingredients remain available until you delete them in the App or uninstall it. To request deletion of all data associated with your anonymous ID, email us and we'll remove it.

Children

Matcha Fix is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
